Today is the first day of Spring, and here in the Sierra Nevada Foothills, Spring has really arrived! Berry, Sophie and Annie spent the day on a long walk, and enjoyed every new blade of grass, every new flower, and every newly leafy tree.

NS bCanCH Miracle's Island Mist, TT

Island Mist Shilohs and Siskiyou Shepherds announce the upcoming breeding of Misty and Summit this Spring/Summer. Beautiful Misty (Lily/Denver) is a Breed and Canadian Champion; she has also passed a Temperament Test. Due to her conformation achievements during the 2007 show year, Misty was honored as a National Select (i.e., one of the top Shilohs in the breed) by both theShiloh Shepherd Breed Association (SSBA) and the International Shiloh Shepherd Dog Club (ISSDC.)

Summit (Fuji/Bama) is a big, gorgeous white Shiloh residing at Siskiyou Shepherds in Bend, Oregon. I am sure we all look forward to this western pairing.

Misty and her Ribbon for Best of Winners

Welcome to Sherry and Joe Drebnicki, new members of the ISSDC West/PNW group. Sherry and Joe have been active members in the ISSDC group for several years. The Drebnickis share our lives with three Shilohs; Misty (Lily/Denver 06), Nimbus (Sequoia/Storm 06) and Halla (Misty/Odin 08.)

After a much quicker than expected house sale this past summer, the Drebnickis found themselves driving cross country with their pregnant dog, Misty, to live in their daughter's family room on Vancouver Island. Luckily Misty waited to whelp her litter of ten beautiful puppies until ten days after the Drebnicki's arrival in British Columbia.

Halla, Miss Red, a beautiful grey sable is the keeper from this litter, and Island Mist puppies are now living all across Canada, with one puppy making its forever home in Florida!

Thankfully Sherry and Joe have now settled into their new forever home, just in time to announce the upcoming breeding of Misty to the handsome Summit. We welcome them to our group.NS bCanCH Miracle's Island Mist, TT (Misty)
